Heridas en el espacio/tiempo : la corporeización del espacio en el cine chino contemporáneo

Abstract:	Behemoth (2015) y A Corner of Heaven (2014), son dos obras que marcan un punto de inflexión en la representación del espacio en el cine chino. La hipótesis central de este artículo es que en ambas películas aparece el espacio como un "cuerpo herido", una representación que remite, por un lado, a un contexto específico de la China continental y, por otro lado, a una larga tradición estética de representación de un espacio corporeizado, siguiendo una lógica material de la tierra y el agua -los dos elementos que componen la pintura.
Abstract:	Behemoth (2015) and A Corner of Heaven (2014), are two works that mark a turning point in the representation of space in Chinese cinema. The central hypothesis of this article is that in both films, space appears as a "wounded body," a representation that refers, on one hand, to a specific context of mainland China and, on the other hand, to a long aesthetic tradition of representing embodied space. Following a material logic of earth and water-the two elements that make up traditional Chinese landscape painting-the main objective is to reflect on the representation of this contemporary landscape in current Chinese cinema.
