Abstract:	Los niños y niñas que llegan a un nuevo país cuya lengua local desconocen tienen derecho a un apoyo lingüístico y cultural para facilitar su adaptación y garantizar su bienestar. La presente intervención la formulamos como un estudio de caso de una familia rusa que se mudó a Buenos Aires, Argentina ante el estallido de la guerra ruso-ucraniana. El estudio, cualitativo y longitudinal, se prolongó a lo largo de dos años. Analizamos los procesos de adquisición del español del hermano mayor y de la hermana menor de la misma familia, puesto que ambos transitaron caminos diferentes en dicha adquisición. El niño empezó a estudiar español antes de llegar al país de acogida y la niña, empezó el estudio formal después de un año de vivir en Argentina. Mostramos cómo la intervención sirvió para ayudar al niño y la niña a socializarse en el entorno escolar. El estudio se basa en los trabajos de Vigotsky y sus seguidores y, en concreto, en los conceptos de la zona del desarrollo próximo y la exteriorización del habla interior. Podemos observar que la intervención ayudó al hermano mayor a integrarse en la escuela cuando llegó a Argentina y a la hermana menor a cambiar su actitud hacia el español. Este estudio enfatiza la importancia del contexto, los localismos y particularismos a la hora de crear nuevo conocimiento acerca de la orientación como práctica eminentemente social y cultural-históricamente situada.
Abstract:	Children who arrive in a new country and are unfamiliar with the local language have the right to linguistic support to facilitate their adaptation and guarantee their well-being. This intervention is conceived as a case study of a Russian family who moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina when the war between Russia and Ukraine started. This qualitative and longitudinal study lasted two years. We analyze the process involved in the acquisition of Spanish by the older brother and the younger sister of the family, since they took very different paths for learning the target language. The brother began studying Spanish before arriving in the country and the younger sister after a year of living in Argentina. The intervention served to help the children socialize. The study is based on the work of Vygotsky and his followers, specifically on the concepts of the Zone of Proximal Development and the externalization of inner speech. The designed intervention helped the older brother integrate into school upon arriving in Argentina and the younger sister change her attitude towards Spanish. This study emphasizes the importance of context, localisms and particularisms when creating new knowledge about guidance as an eminently social and cultural-historically situated practice.
