Questions d'iconicité dans la represéntation de la ville en peinture

Resum:	Depuis que la perspective a symbolisé l'espace environnemental, sa perception et sa représentation en ont été modifiées au point de constater une inversion du schéma territorial. Si comme l'indique Daniel Arasse dans son Histoire de peinture, l'espace territorial était initialement segmenté en trois zones, privilégiant le centre (la città), la reggio et la provincia, on assiste à l'inverse aujourd-hui à un phénomène centrifuge des répartitions d'activités, dont l'art et le paysage sont la première « victime ». De Lorenzo Credi à Raymond Hains, nous assistons au passage de la profondeur signifiant un espace incommensurable, à la présence frontale et concrète de palissades révélant un paysage exo-urbain par un événement esthétique. Cet article propose d'étudier comment les artistes ont indiqué la présence de la ville dans les tableaux au cours des siècles, jusqu'à la période contemporaine qui montre une appropriation concrète de ses composantes pour faire oeuvre. Autrement dit, il s'agira de montrer le passage du sujet à l'objet «ville » traduisant un processus d'iconicité historique.
Resum:	Since perspective first came to symbolise space in an environment, its perception and representation have been modified until they have come to establish a transformation of the territorial pattern. If, as Daniel Arrasse states in his History of Painting, space was initially segmented into three areas, with more importance being given to the centre (città), reggio and provincia, today we are experiencing the opposite - a centrifugal phenomenon dividing up activities; one in which art and landscape are the first "victim". From Lorenzo Credi to Raymond Hains, we have been witnessing the change from a profound depth of field signifying boundless space, to close ups of concrete and confrontational barriers revealing an exurban landscape through an aesthetic event. This article proposes studying how artists have denoted the presence of urban spaces within the scene over the centuries, right up to the contemporary period with its concrete commandeering of the components needed to create art. In other words, we are talking about moving from the subject to the object "city", conveying a process of historical iconicity.
