El objetivo principal de esta tesis es hacer un estudio contrastivo del estilo que caracterizan Platero y yo y sus seis traducciones al chino. Primero, hemos presentado una revisión teórica sobre los parámetros extratextuales que configuran el contexto de creación y de recepción de la obra original y sus textos meta. A partir del marco teórico, delimitamos un modelo de análisis para realizar posteriormente el estudio de los factores extratextuales que rodean el texto original y sus traducciones. En segundo lugar, hemos hecho una revisión bibliográfica en relación con el concepto del estilo definido desde las perspectivas literaria y lingüística y hemos repasado las teorías del estilo propuestas por distintos traductólogos para concretar terminología y formular el modelo de análisis de nuestro estudio. Asimismo, llevamos a cabo una revisión de las teorías traductológicas en torno al método traductor y los procedimientos de traducción. En tercer lugar, hemos intentado presentar y analizar el contexto de creación y de recepción de la obra original. Por otro lado, partiendo de las perspectivas histórica y sociocultural, hemos tratado de presentar y analizar los parámetros extratextuales que configuran el contexto de creación y de recepción de los textos meta para ver si estos factores influyen en el estilo de las traducciones. En cuarto lugar, hemos hecho un breve comentario acerca de los elementos estilísticos seleccionados del texto original y después, hemos tratado de analizar la traducción de estos elementos realizada por los diferentes traductores de nuestro corpus, así como el procedimiento adoptado por éstos para trasladar los elementos estilísticos del texto original. En quinto lugar, hemos presentado un análisis cuantitativo mediante un análisis global de los procedimientos de traducción empleados para traducir los elementos estilísticos y hemos agrupado los procedimientos que han sido utilizados por cada traductor. Hemos tratado de establecer qué categoría del estilo emplean los traductores con mayor frecuencia en cada determinado procedimiento, así como el método de traducción adoptado. Por otra parte, hemos indagado qué texto meta ha sido el que utiliza con mayor frecuencia cada procedimiento. Por último, hemos intentado presentar la frecuencia de omisión usada por cada traductor y su porcentaje respectivo. Asimismo, nos centramos en el análisis cualitativo e intentamos identificar las marcas idiolectales de las traducciones de nuestro corpus. En definitiva, de acuerdo con el análisis de los factores extratextuales y el análisis contrastivo de los elementos estilísticos que realizamos antes, hemos relacionado estos dos análisis para poder llegar a inferir si los factores extratextuales de estas traducciones influyen de alguna manera en el idiolecto que caracteriza cada texto meta. |

The main objective of this thesis is to contrast the style of the masterpiece Platero y yo and its six Chinese translations. First of all, we have revised the theories about the extratextual parameters that form the context of creation and reception of the source text and its target text. From these theories, we delimitated a model to analyze the extratextual factors which would influence the source text and the target texts. Secondly, we have made a revision in connection with the stylistic concept which is defined from the literary and linguistic points of view. We also went over several stylistic theories with the purpose of specify the terminology and to establish the analytical approach of our research. We also reviewed the theories of Translation Studies related to the translation methods and the translation procedures. Thirdly, we have analyzed the context of creation and reception which has surrounded the source text. On the other hand, according to the history and sociocultural point of view, we have tried to analyze the extratextual parameters that form the context of creation and reception of our target texts. Fourthly, we have made a brief observation with regard to the stylistic elements of the source text and then we have analyzed how the translators of our corpus dealed with these stylistic elements and what kind of translation procedures they have chosen to translate all these elements. Fifthly, by means of the global analysis, we have made a quantitative analysis about the translation procedures chosed by each translators. On the one hand, we have attempted to ascertain what kind of the translation method is prefered by the each translator: domestication or foreignization. On the other hand, we have investigated which target text was the one that used most often some determined procedure. Finally, we have investigated the percentage of the omission used by each translator of our corpus and we also tried to find out the main reason for the occurrence of the omission. As to the qualitative analysis, we have identified the ideolect of each translation of our corpus. According to both the analysis of the extratextual factors and the stylistic elements we have made before, we have linked together these two studies to deduce if the extratextual factors we have detected influenced by some means the idiolect of these six Chinese translations. |
