Crisis del empleo y cohesión social

Abstract:	En este artículo se defiende la idea de que la configuración particular del empleo en los años que siguen a la segunda guerra mundial constituyó uno de los pilares básicos en los que se asentó la legitimización del orden social de las sociedades industrializadas y contribuyó a hacer posible una recia cohesión social. Ese tipo de empleo era un empleo seguro, estable y con derechos. Para hacer más claro nuestro planteamiento dedicamos unos párrafos a una propuesta de delimitación teórica del concepto de cohesión social. A partir de los años ochenta la norma de empleo anterior se ve afectada por una fuerte crisis. Nos preguntamos hasta si y qué punto esa crisis no ha introducido en nuestras sociedades una dinámica de descohesión social y cuáles pueden ser vías por las que transcurra su evolución.
Abstract:	This article defends the idea that the specific employment configuration in the years after the Second World War was built on of the basic pillars for legitimising the social order of industrialized societies and contributed to bring about solid social cohesion. This type of employment was secure, stable and came along with entitlements. In order to further clarify this, we devoted a few paragraphs to tracing out a theory of the notion of social cohesion. As of the 1980s, this type of employment became affected by a severe crisis. We have questioned if and to what extent this crisis has introduced a dynamic of social fracture into our societies, and we have examined what avenues these developments may be taking.
