El mamífer cuirassat, que s’usa en la medicina tradicional asiàtica, es caça il·legalment a l’Àfrica Central i després s’envia a Nigèria, d’on surten diverses rutes cap a l’Àsia. El mamífero acorazado, que se usa en la medicina tradicional asiática, se caza ilegalmente en África Central y luego se envía a Nigeria, de donde salen diversas rutas hacia Asia.
