Abstract in English:

Implicit or explicit models of meaning and meaning construction play a key role in the conceptualization of translation. Different cognitive approaches provide different visions of meaning, and they aslo lead to differetn theoretical frameworks for empirical translation research. In this chapter, I analize different cognitive models of meaning and discuss how they can contribute to develop a coherent and realistic tehoretical framework for translatology.
