We have witnessed in the "new television" to new ways of seeing that are pointing out a total transparency and are characterized by their hypervisibility. New ways of seduction also are appearing that modify the relation with the spectator, approximating the reality to him, integrating him into the communicating contract and transforming the reality in a spectacle. The frontiers between genres, between information and entertainment, public and private areas, reality and fiction, are dissolving and coexist characteristics which refer to archaic rituals and another which reflect ruptures in the post-modern discourse (fascination toward disorder, expression of the social pathos). |
