Resumen:	El presente artículo hace un recorrido por las adaptaciones literarias en el cine español para analizar, a continuación, el valor que las mismas han tenido en la filmografía de Pedro Almodóvar, sus características específicas y sus transgresiones. El tema se concreta en Julieta (2016), cuyo guion es la transposición fílmica de tres relatos de la escritora canadiense y Premio Nobel de Literatura, Alice Munro. Se estudian las diferencias y semejanzas argumentales entre ambas narraciones y, posteriormente, los referentes artísticos y estéticos que incorpora la película y sus significados, constatándose que las obras pictóricas y escultóricas incluidas, el color y el atrezo refuerzan la acción.
Resumen:	The present article makes a tour of the literary adaptations in the Spanish cinema, to analyze next the value that they have had in the filmography of Pedro Almodóvar, its specific characteristics and its transgressions. The theme is set in Julieta (2016), whose script is based on three stories by the Canadian writer and Nobel Prize for Literature, Alice Munro. The differences and similarities between the two narratives are analyzed, as well as the artistic and aesthetic references incorporated in the film and its meanings. It is found that the pictorial and sculptural works included, color and props reinforce the action.
