Abstract in English:
We report on experiments in which manual translation is compared with a process in which automatically translated texts are postedited. The translations were performed using Translog, a tool for monitoring and collecting keystroke and gaze data. The results indicate that the postediting process resulted in a modest improvement in quality, as compared to the manual translations. Translation times were lower for the postediting. It was also found that postediting involved notable differences in gaze behavior.
