Abstract: This paper presents a case study on a Catalan Primary School, where it was researched the benefits and difficulties of teaching inquiry-based science through a CLIL approach. Several members of the educational community were interviewed to obtain the necessary information. The members were selected and organised considering the level of observation they had about the researched topic. Those interviews were analysed in depth according to certain categories and codes. Through this analysis it was concluded that there is a wide variety of benefits obtained from following this approach, but challenges may arise and make the whole process quite struggling.
