Uso de la lengua extranjera en tareas para aprender ciencias en inglés: ¿hablan en inglés?

Resum:	En este artículo se analizan las interacciones entre dos parejas mientras están realizando distintas tareas para aprender ciencias en inglés. La propuesta de introducir tareas por parejas en aulas AICLE parece mejorar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la lengua meta. El tema que preocupa a los profesionales de la educación y que es el eje central de esta investigación es explorar si los alumnos usan la lengua extranjera para interactuar entre ellos o siguen usando la L1 como vehículo de comunicación, tal y como la experiencia muestra que ocurre en las aulas tradicionales de lengua extranjera. Los resultados muestran que los estudiantes utilizan la lengua extranjera cuando realizan las tareas. El análisis de los datos y las conclusiones finales dan evidencia para pensar que el trabajo por parejas así como la introducción en las aulas de tareas en las que se integran contenidos y lengua meta están ofreciendo la oportunidad de mejorar la tarea como docentes y, consecuentemente, la competencia comunicativa en lengua meta de los alumnos.
Resum:	In this article we will analyse the interaction between two pairs of students while they are doing several tasks in order to learn Science through English. The introduction of pair work in CLIL classrooms seems to improve the teaching and learning of the foreign language. The topic which worries teachers and which is the basis of this research is whether the students use the foreign language when interacting or they continue using their mother tongue, as it is usual in traditional foreign language lessons. The results show that they really use the foreign language when they have to fulfil the tasks. The analysis and the conclusions provide evidence to think that pair work and the introduction of tasks in which content and the foreign language are integrated offer the opportunity to improve the teaching practice and, consequently, the communicative competence of students in the target language.
