Aquest treball presenta el Pla de viabilitat i desenvolupament de l'associació Women Rising for Africa, WRA, constituïda al febrer del 2022. L'associació neix per donar forma a un projecte de cooperació internacional, promogut des de Catalunya però que incideix a Uganda, que busca facilitar la independència econòmica i l'empoderament de les dones a l'Àfrica a través de noves oportunitats de treball en el sector del transport i l'accés a una mobilitat segura i sostenible. Este trabajo presenta el Plan de viabilidad y desarrollo de la asociación Women Rising for Africa, WRA, constituida en febrero de 2022. La asociación nace para dar forma a un proyecto de cooperación internacional, promovido desde Cataluña pero que incide en Uganda, que busca facilitar la independencia económica y empoderamiento de las mujeres en África a través de nuevas oportunidades de trabajo en el sector del transporte y el acceso a una movilidad segura y sostenible. This work presents the Viability & development plan of the Women Rising for Africa association, WRA, established in February 2022. The association was born to give shape to an international cooperation project, promoted from Catalonia but which affects Uganda, which aims to empower and facilitate the economic independence of women in Africa through new job opportunities in the transport sector and access to safe and sustainable mobility.

A large volume of public health literature has shown how the social and physical features of a neighbourhood affect residents' health, and how they contribute to health inequalities. In this article, we argue that citizens, researchers, policy makers and health professionals should engage in creating a common, policy-relevant neighbourhood and health agenda to effectively improve population health and reduce health inequalities.
