Resum:	This work looks at the task of mapping out the technological transformations involved in the convergence process, establishing the current state of affairs in technological terms and the extent to which digital convergence has occurred. It concentrates on the changes that this implies for the communication system and the consequences in the areas of production, distribution and consumption of TV content.
