La idea de Cyborg de Haraway trata de romper, en cierta medida, con el cuerpo como algo simplemente natural, y consecuentemente discutirá con autoras como Fireston o Plant la idea de un mundo dual e inequívoco. Lo más interesante y lo que aquí queremos poner de relieve, no es tanto regresar a una descripción de los Cyborgs, sino por el contrario observar cómo el concepto ha sido clave para entender el cuerpo contemporáneo y post-capitalista, donde el imaginario de la carne monstruosa se trastoca bajo el principio de la ciencia. Haraway abrió el camino para pensar de manera performativa el cuerpo y un buen número de autoras, desde Butler a Preciado, son en cierta medida deudoras de esta tradición, la cual al final permite pensar incluso los nuevos anti-humanismos, los cuerpos en transición o simplemente el lugar de las interpretaciones sobre el sentido de la carne. Partiendo de aquí, nos preguntamos cuáles son las condiciones de estos cuerpos y qué relación tienen con el bien común, la monstruosidad, las miradas a la individualidad, al género y a los procesos científicos. |

Haraway's idea of Cyborg, to some extent, tries to break with the body as something purely natural, thereby she will discuss with authors like Fireston or Plant about the idea of a dual and an unequivocal world. The most interesting and what we want to highlight here is not so much the return to a description of the Cyborg, but on the contrary, to observe how the concept has been key to understand the contemporary and post-capitalist body, where the imaginary of the monstrous flesh is disrupted under the principle of Science. Haraway opened up a mode of thinking the body in a performative way and a good number of authors like Butler or Preciado are, to some extent, indebted to this tradition that allows us to think even the new anti-humanisms, the transitional bodies or more directly the place of interpretations about the meaning of the flesh. Starting from here, we ask ourselves what are the conditions of these bodies and how they relate to the general good, monstrosity, individuality, gender and the scientific processes. |
