Este trabajo analiza los cuentos fantásticos «El desentierro de la angelita» (Mariana Enriquez) y «Bajo tierra» (Samanta Schweblin) desde el prisma de su materialidad. Se tratará de explorar la forma en que sus palabras se combinan para transgredir las estructuras del propio lenguaje de forma radicalmente política. La potencialidad política de lo fantástico ha sido demostrada por numerosos investigadores, pero la indagación en el procedimiento que lo fantástico utiliza para hilar su tejido contestatario ha quedado algo más desatendida. Por ello este artículo pretende cuestionar cómo la textura de lo fantástico permite denunciar una catástrofe que ataca directamente a la memoria individual y colectiva en Argentina. Se trata de la desaparición forzada de personas, que en ambos cuentos se declina en un doble fenómeno imposible: la (des)aparición. |

This paper analyzes the stories «El desentierro de la angelita» (Mariana Enriquez) and «Bajo tierra» (Samanta Schweblin) through the prism of their materiality or texture. The aim will be to explore the ways in which their words combine to transgress the structures of language itself in a radically political way. The political potentiality of the fantastic has been demonstrated by numerous scholars, but the study of the process by which the fantastic weaves its contested fabric has been somewhat neglected. For this reason, the purpose of this article is to ask how the fantastic allows us to speak differently in order to denounce a catastrophe that directly attacks individual and collective memory in Argentina. It is about the enforced and involuntary disappearances which in both stories is reduced to a double impossible phenomenon: the (dis)appearance. |
