Abstract:	El objetivo del artículo es valorar el peso de la migración familiar y la reagrupación familiar en la migración recibida en Cataluña desde principios del siglo XX, comparando la migración procedente del resto de España y la internacional. Se analiza la migración diferencial por sexo y origen teniendo en cuenta el momento de la unión así como la presencia o no de otros familiares en el movimiento migratorio. Las fuentes estadísticas utilizadas son la Encuesta Sociodemográfica de 1991 del Instituto Nacional de Estadística, para el estudio de la migración interna; y la Enquesta Demogràfica de Catalunya de 2007 del Institut Català d'Estadística, para el de la migración internacional. La estimación de la reagrupación y de la migración familiar por origen desvela una diversidad de estrategias migratorias por género que traspasa la distinción entre migración interna e internacional.
Abstract:	The aim of this paper is to evaluate the weight of family migration and family reunification received in Catalonia since the early twentieth century, comparing the migration from the rest of the State and internationally. We analyze the differential migration by sex and origin taking into account the time of the union as well as the presence or absence of other relatives in the migratory movement. Data comes from the 1991 Sociodemographic Survey from the National Institute of Statistics, for the study of internal migration; and the 2007 Catalan Demographic Survey from the Catalonia Institute of Statistics, for international migration. The estimation of reunification and family migration by origin reveals a diversity of migration strategies by gender that goes beyond the distinction between internal and international migration.
Abstract:	L'article vise à évaluer le poids de la migration familiale et de la migration par regroupement familial accueillie en Catalogne depuis le début du XXe siècle, en comparant la migration interne et étrangère. La migration différentielle est analysée selon le sexe et l'origine en tenant compte du moment depuis l'union et de la présence ou non d'autres parents dans le mouvement migratoire. Les sources de données utilisées proviennent de l'Enquête sociodémographique de 1991, de l'Institut national de la statistique, pour l'étude de la migration à l'intérieur de l'Espagne et l'Enquête démographique de 2007 de l'Institut Catalan de la statistique, pour la migration internationale. L'estimation du regroupement et de la migration familiale selon l'origine révèle une diversité de stratégies de migration selon le sexe qui va au-delà de la distinction entre migrations internes et internationales.
