Abstract: | The present research is a case study that aims to inquire in the area of critical literacy as a potential tool to develop critical thinking. It is commonly agreed that one of the functions of school is enabling people to think. Critical literacy is a powerful approach to address issues of people's life and the world from a social and critical perspective. That is why this paper aims to construct knowledge in the field of critical literacy drawing from a real practice in a school. It analyses a proposal intervention designed from a critical literacy approach regarding its effectiveness in promoting critical thinking. |
