Abstract:	En los últimos dieciocho años el liderazgo para la justicia social se ha convertido en un área de investigación preferente dentro del ámbito de los estudios sobre liderazgo. El objetivo del presente artículo es analizar qué hacen los líderes educativos para crear instituciones más inclusivas y si han recibido preparación específica para ello. Tras revisar estudios recientes, la investigación cualitativa analiza el caso de un grupo de catorce directivos españoles y lo compara con otro estudio internacional ampliamente citado (Theoharis, 2007). Existe paralelismo entre las respuestas de los líderes en las actuaciones para mejorar la justicia social, los obstáculos encontrados, y la forma de superar las resistencias. También se detecta a nivel general falta de conocimientos y preparación en liderazgo para la justicia social. Recomendamos formar a los directivos en las prácticas y competencias de liderazgo necesarias para la justicia social, basándonos en los conocimientos que aportan las últimas investigaciones.
Abstract:	In the past eighteen years, leadership for social justice has become a crucial area of research within the field of leadership studies. For this reason, the aim of this study is to find out how educational leaders contribute to create more inclusive schools, and if they have received the adequate training to do so. After a review of recent studies, our qualitative research analyzed the case of a group of fourteen Spanish educational leaders and compared it with another international and well cited research (Theoharis, 2007). The responses of the fourteen leaders parallel previous results in how leaders promote social justice, the obstacles they face in their path toward equity and how they manage them. At the same time, we detected lack of specific knowledge and preparation in leadership for social justice. Our recommendation is to develop social competences and training leaders for social justice according to the latest investigations.
