Montaje : Hacia un tratamiento perceptivo de los mensajes audiovisuales

Abstract:	El efecto comunicativo de los procedimientos del montaje audiovisual muchas veces está asociado a la destreza técnica, a la precisión de los cortes y transiciones a través de los cuales el realizador articula ordenadamente una cadena de elementos para formar su discurso. Sin embargo, su eficacia radica en la presencia de unas claves perceptivas dirigidas a captar la atención del espectador y facilitar el reconocimiento e interpretación de unos rasgos audiovisuales relevantes. El presente artículo reflexiona acerca de los elementos que componen esta relación, sus posibilidades para mejorar las capacidades expresivas de los discursos y propone un modelo de procesamiento cinemático, basado en la configuración de los atributos físicos y en la hegemonía significativa de la fusión comunicativa entre la imagen y el sonido.
Abstract:	The communicative effect of editing is often associated with technical factors, the precision of cuts and the connections by which the director of a film ordered a chain of elements with the aim to give voice to a certain discourse. However, its effectiveness is based upon perceptual keys which are meant to catch the attention of the viewer and which facilitate the recognition and interpretation of some relevant audiovisual features. This article reflects on the elements that compose this relationship and on their potential to improve the expressive capacities of the filmic discourses. It proposes a cinematographic processing model, based upon the configuration of physical attributes and on the significant hegemony of the communicative fusion of image and sound.
