En el trabajo se ponen de relieve algunos de los problemas procesales y materiales que surgen en el ámbito de la delincuencia económica, concluyéndose que ya sea por la concesión de indultos a los condenados por estos delitos o por la estimación de distintas circunstancias atenuantes, lo habitual es que se acabe suspendiendo la ejecución de las penas o que se acaben sustituyendo por otras, con lo que el delincuente económico, en la mayoría de los casos, no entra en prisión. [...] The paper highlights some of the problems arising in the field of economic crime, concluding that either by granting pardons to those convicted of these crimes or by estimating various mitigating circumstances, it is usual to suspend the enforcement of sentences or to substitute them by others, so the economic offender, in most cases, is not hold in prison.
