Escritores que dictan : ¿y por qué no los traductores literarios?

Este artículo explora el dictado como técnica de escritura y traducción literaria. Primero, da testimonio histórico de los múltiples casos de escritores que han utilizado esta técnica. Luego, expone el interés creciente por la traducción dictada y propone que las tecnologías del habla y otras formas de interacción persona-ordenador deben tener un papel importante en el desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías para la traducción literaria.
Aquest article explora el dictat com a tècnica d'escriptura i traducció literària. Primer, dona testimoni històric dels múltiples casos d'escriptors que han utilitzat aquesta tècnica. Després, exposa l'interès creixent per la traducció dictada, i proposa que les tecnologies de la parla i d'altres formes d'interacció humà-ordinador han de tenir un paper important en el desenvolupament de noves tecnologies per a la traducció literària.
This article explores dictation as a literary writing and translation technique. It first provides an overview of the multiple cases of writers who have used this technique throughout history. It then exposes the growing interest in translation dictation, and proposes that speech input and other forms of human-computer interaction should play an important role in the development of new technologies for literary translation.
