Background: Knowledge on the effect of analytical variability and storage conditions are essential for the successful implementation of plasma pTau in prospective settings. Aims: To investigate the performance of plasma pTau, measured in consecutive samples with LUMIPULSE, for detecting Alzheimer's disease in a prospective memory clinic setting, along with evaluating its pre-analytical and analytical stability. Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a B-cell neoplasm with an aggressive clinical behavior characterized by the t(11;14)(q13;q32) and cyclin D1 overexpression. To clarify the potential contribution of altered DNA methylation in the development and/or progression of MCL, we performed genome-wide methylation profiling of a large cohort of primary MCL tumors (n = 132), MCL cell lines (n = 6) and normal lymphoid tissue samples (n = 31), using the Infinium HumanMethylation27 BeadChip. In order to circumvent a fundamental issue when studying densely defined traces on C∗-algebras - which we refer to as the Trace Question - we initiate a systematic study of the set TR(A) of self-adjoint traces on the Pedersen ideal of A. In this paper we describe how to compute a Saito basis of a cusp, a plane curve with only one Puiseux pair. Moreover, the 1-forms of the Saito basis that we obtain are characterized in terms of their divisorial orders associated to the "cuspidal" divisor of the minimal reduction of singularities of the cusp. Action operads and cloning systems are, respectively, the main ingredients in Thumann's and Witzel-Zaremsky's approaches for axiomatically constructing Thompson-like groups. In this paper, we prove that action operads are equivalent to cloning systems that admit a certain extra structure, and which we call restricted operadic cloning systems. [...]
